While Dave has been an Entertainer for over 30 years doing magic, ventriloquism, and puppetry. It is Danica's love of music that got Dave into music. Dave explains that "Danica stopped by for a visit, one day and heard me singing along to a gospel song on the TV and at 4 years of age she picked the song apart, wanted to know the meaning behind every line and word they used, she knew at that young age there was deeper meaning to what was being said , every time she came over she would ask me to play more music and I soon ran out of tapes. So three years ago I bought a guitar and two books on how to play, "Guitars for Dummies" and "Country and Blues Guitar for the Musically hopeless". I taught myself to play so we would not run out of songs to sing.

Dave is thankful that Danica brought the music into his life. For over 10 years Dave had to carry tanks of Oxygen with him, every where he went. This was due to an allergic reaction that left his lungs damaged.

As a result of practicing an hour a day with his music, Dave's lungs became stronger to the point that, for the past year, Dave no longer needs the tanks with him.

Dave named their first CD in honor of Danica for bringing the gift of music to him.

About Dani

Danica Smith is eight years old, and in the second grade. She loves to sing. You can hear her on most of the songs as Dave's main, backup singer. Danica also takes the lead on a few songs.

Also you will hear Danica's older sisters, 12 year old Layla, and 10 year old Erica singing back up as well.
